Uppsala Flowers

As part of the Linnaeus 2007 celebration, Uppsala is sporting considerably more public foliage than when I was last here in 2004. Bridges over the Fyris river now have flowerboxes:

...while the sides of the river itself, in front of Västmanlands-Dala Nation, have new planters:

Benches on the pedestrian Svartbäcksgatan are now encircled by a trellis:
