Somebody took this picture of me inspecting the high-quality pressed-wood furniture for sale at my local IKEA. The question is, having already written my masters degree mostly lying down on the couch with a laptop, what role does a big desk in a separate home office really serve? Isn't it just 1990's thinking to have a "desktop" computer with a big monitor on a big work surface?
Still, only $200! It's amazing what they can do with recycled sawdust these days.
