Runsten
Runes carved in stone from the late Viking age. This is the only known runestone on Orust, the island north of Tjörn, and was used during the middle ages as part of a bridge. It was re-erected in the 19th century. The inscription may be interpreted as "Ior in Åm created the stone here on the hill."
