Bordesholm Altar
Carved by Hans Brüggemann in the 1510's. The monks for whom the altar was carved allegedly poisoned Brüggemann after he completed the piece, causing him to lose his eyesight and thus ensure Schleswig's altar would never be surpassed by another.
