MuVo2 Extraction

After a bit of a delay (there's been a run on these devices) I came home from LA to find the Creative Lab MuVo2 MP3 player had arrived. Here are some pictures of the disassembly of the device to extract the 4gig Hitach MicroDrive:

My Canon 10D claims it can hold 684 RAW files with this drive installed, which should be enough to not have to change cards when I'm in Europe this summer. Whether I trust Winchester technology in a portable device that's liable to be bumped around a fair bit is a different question...
