Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home

My home for the next 10 months will be on Sysslomansgatan, a street close to the Uppsala Cathedral that, in fact, used to house workers when the building was under construction in the 1300s. Syssloman means workman, syssla being the verb for work (which has slowly lost ground to the German loan arbeta.)

I would be lying if I said that a big reason I accepted this apartment wasn't the Wayne's Coffee a block away.
