Greetings from Oxford, Mississippi, home of the 94th annual Society for the Advancement of Scandinavian Study. I gave my paper today at 1:45, on a panel with Cora Lacatus from UCLA. We had good attendance, despite the post-lunch timing, and some nice discussion following our talks. Dinner was at Pearl Street Pasta with Chip, Sharon, Mark, Helga, Kerstin and Nate. Niklas, Ralitsa and Margareta joined us later for drinks at the same restaurant -- along with Danish author Peter Fogtdal.
