Sabine Hake, from UT-Austin, has been visiting campus the last few days. Yesterday she gave a talk in our Crime Film class, about the German film Kurz und Schmerzlos. Last night was a very pleasent dinner at Café Campagne, followed by a talk this afternoon at the Humanities Center about Downfall -- a film about Hitler's last days in the Berlin bunker.
