In the process of moving, I'm scanning artifacts which have been collecting in my desk drawers over the past few years. Here's a Swedish stamp depicting Karlbergs Slott, a house built in 1636 by Admiral Karl Karlsson Gyllenhielm (1574-1650). It came under King's ownership in the late 1600's and housed the Court after fire destroyed the Royal Palace in Stockholm in 1697. In 1792 Gustav III founded the Royal Military Academy in the building.
